Re #Labourleadership We wish every success to the newly elected Leader of our Labour Party Keir Starmer and Deputy Leader Angela Raynor and look forward to a Labour Party that I hope will come together as one and win an election.
With regard to the Stevenage Women’s Forum, we will not be holding a meeting for the next few months whilst COVID-19 restrictions are in force. So I thought I would take the opportunity to reach out to all members and ask that you take a moment to keep in touch. Let us know your thoughts and any ideas we can use to enhance our meetings and make them more relevant to you. We are a Labour Group and our discussions have focussed most recently on subjects relating to social care, education, domestic abuse, Slave labour, LGBT+ mental health and Waspi issues. We plan to invite speakers to attend our meetings on many more issues. Also, anyone who wishes to come along and join the conversation, would be welcome. So keep checking our Stevenage CLP site and FB for updates on all things Labour. If you have friends who haven’t yet considered joining Labour, now is the time to encourage them to check us out. We need to ensure when all of this dreadful pandemic is over people are ready to take more of a lead in shaping the politics of our party and give their support. Your voice matters. Your voice needs to be heard. So watch this space. Keep in touch. Stay safe.
