Monika Cherney-Craw
Labour and Cooperative Candidate for Roebuck

Hello, I’m Monika Cherney-Craw and I’m a Labour & Co-operative candidate for Roebuck on 6 May 2021. I have been a councillor for Roebuck in the past and have an affinity with the area. I have served as Chair of the Governing Body at Roebuck School and served as a trustee at Crossroads, a local charity supporting carers and those they help. Recently retired, I will have the time to devote to representing Roebuck effectively.
I have lived in Stevenage for 38 years and seen areas grow and mature. I hold a great passion for our town and want to see it go from strength to strength. The investment in social housing, in regeneration of our town centre, in green spaces and community orchards are real positives.
If elected for Roebuck, I will
● Be a strong voice for Roebuck in the Council ● Walk your streets with you, to sort out all those problems like litter and flytipping ● Work to get the resources we need to regenerate our neighbourhood and rebuild our community groups after the pandemic, when that time comes.
As your Labour and Co-operative Party candidate I am committed to a fairer society, believing that things work best when everyone has a voice and when services are accountable to the people who use them.
