Stevenage Labour Party is saying ‘thank you’ to residents who brighten up the town with their Christmas lights

by giving certificates to the houses with the best displays.

Local Labour teams are scouring the town, searching for those residents who have gone the extra mile to decorate their houses and bring

Christmas cheer to their neighbourhoods.  The best displays will receive a certificate, thanking those residents for making Stevenage a brighter place to live.

Labour Council Leader and Symonds Green councillor, Sharon Taylor said today:
“After another difficult year, it’s time to celebrate the resilience of our residents, and their joy for life.  All over the town, people have put up amazing Christmas

decorations that brighten up our roads and neighbourhoods.  We want to say ‘thank you’ to those who have made life a little more joyful for everyone else.

Our certificates are just for fun, and we hope those who receive them know how much their efforts are appreciated.”

A happy Christmas to all.
