Stevenage CLP Women’s Forum today celebrated International Women’s day with diversity and unity. We presented our member’s  handmade wreath to Lady Constance Bulwer-Lytton’s mausoleum in Knebworth and  our thanks to Martha Cobbold for being so accommodating Thanks also to members who came along to support us. We followed the presentation with refreshments a film about local suffrage experiences and music. A huge thanks to Ellie Bullen-Ryner who played and sang several songs and read a poem.  What a talented women! We welcomed several new members and some who may become members. Thanks also to our token men reps John G and Cris C and to both Lorraine and Cris for helping to bring our celebration to fruition. We collected donations amounting to £17 for SADA which I shall be passing on.  We had an enjoyable time and a good opportunity to talk. #InternationalWomensDay #EachforEqual #stevenagelabourwomensforum
