Jill Borcherds, Labours Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Stevenage commented:

“I know from first-hand experience teaching throughout Stevenage over 23 years that these Tory cuts and the damage caused are very real. Boris Johnson may be promising some extra money now but it is not enough and money alone will not mend the broken system of divisive structures causing inequality and the teacher recruitment crisis”.
